Dr Tank tablets help the aquarium to look its best. Separated into individual elements, it gives the experienced aquarist the option to fine tune their fertilising regime, as well as providing solutions to variety of common aquarium problems, such as algae and planaria.

Nutrient: Aquatic plants absorb nutrients through leaves and to propagate. Regular supply of nutrients will keep the plants healthy and counter the growth of algae.

P: Nutrient Phosphorus (P) is designed to regulate the growth rate of aquatic plants. In the tank with sufficient Nitrogen(N), a small amount of phosphorus added can help to accelerate the aquatic plants’ growth. Following the instructions, the phosphorus content will be 0.1mg/L.

K: Potassium (K) is extremely important and easily depleted in a planted tank. In the growth stage, rate of plant growth is evident with a higher content of K. In the maturing stage, K is helpful in color development.

Fe: Iron(Fe) is highly related to the color performance of aquatic plants. During iron deficiency, new leaves will lose their colour, even yellowing. To achieve a strong color, reduce Nitrogen(N) and Phosphorus (P) (slow growth rate) and increase Potassium(K) (Improve photo-synthesis) to obtain the best color performance.

N: Nitrogen(N) is an essential nutrient for plant growth and insufficient nitrogen can cause poor growth of aquatic plants. Supplying Nutrient Nitrogen(N) and promotes plant growth.

TE: Elements for formation of new buds & pigment synthesis. Trace elements are little needed but necessary for plant health and growth. When trace elements are deficient, the growth and development of aquatic plant are obviously affected as figure.

0: Substrate root fertilizer tabs slowly releases macro and trace elements for root growth up to 2 months. Substrate root fertilizer tabs suitable for new tank set-up and for topdressing

1: Dormant micro organisms help to decompose harmful substances. Contains micro- organisms that are in a dormant state, which are vital for an ecosystem. When activated, these micro organisms in a filter decompose the harmful bacteria & help to improve the water quality. They can also help in the digestive systems of the fish, keeping them healthy.

2:  Ability to remove over 2mg/L of residual chlorine and chloramine in tap water. Replenish the minerals and detoxify any heavy metals in tap water.

3: Effervescing CO2 and carbon source. CO2 fertilizing effect or carbon fertilizing effect causes an increase rate of photosynthesis allowing plants to grow faster.

4: Algaecide specifically made to target and eliminate stubborn Black Beard Algae

5: General algaecide and preventer

6: Water clarifier to help combat yellow, green and cloudy water. Allows you to achieve that crystal clear water you have been looking for.

7: Snail remover to help combat those pesky pest snails

8: BGA (blue green algae), also known as Cyanophyta,  which is extensive and highly visible blooms with the appearance of blue-green colour and is toxic. Dr tank number 8 clears this annoying algae quickly before it becomes a severe issue.
