One of the few white aquarium plants, Luwigia Sp. White is a beautiful but difficult stem plant. High light as well as CO2 injection is required for it to grow well. It is a display plant for advanced aquarists to showcase their skill.

For optimum growth and colouration of aquatic plants, use strong lighting in combination with CO2 and nutrient rich substrate.

For emersed plants, it will take a few weeks for the plant to convert to submersed form. In the process of conversion, plant leaves may melt, but leaves will regrow if stem, rhizome, or root system is still healthy. For optimum conversion, keep in chilled water with CO2 injection.
